Wing mirror squeak

One of my wing mirrors has started squeaking when folding. I am thinking I should squirt wd40 between the mirror and mount to stop it? Is that the right thing to do???

I don't see why not, worth putting some paper behind when you spray to keep it off the paint / windows.

Personaly I'd use an aerosol silicon lube, rather than WD40...smile

Indeed....Water Displacing 40 isn't really intended as a lubricant, and any effects will only be temporary. smile

I do have numerous machines you know Luna, including CNCs.....mind you, you've seen them all thumbup
