I have been planning my last and final upgrades to my Vantage and have the N400 sills in the pipeline and a bit of “Armour Guard” to the front lower sections of my car.biggrin

I have also been looking at the Sports Pack to finish of the upgrades as I love the 19" 5-Spoke Lightweight Forged alloys which would just finish the look of my car and make it more beautiful, if that is possible.biggrin

So I started my research and this is where I was stopped in my tracks. I did some phoning around to get some prices. I knew that it was going to be expensive but I wasn’t prepared for just how expensive it actually is.

So here is what I was quoted by all I contacted:

Sports Pack for V8 Vantage, fitted incl of VAT £ 5,720 yikes

So I thought, I’ll also asked the price of the alloys on their own:

19" 5-Spoke Lightweight Forged, fitted incl of VAT £6,799 yikesyikes

Now I can see why people purchase similar non Aston alloys.

I think I will be leaving this final idea and maybe get my original alloys re furbished, which will save me thousands.idea

Are the "Aston Martin V8 Sportspack Wheel Set (N400 Style) Last set at this price!!" on ebay from Lancaster Reading the ones you are interested in or have I got the wrong end of the stick. They are reduced to £2799 which with tyres will still be a lot of cash but less than you have been quoted.

And a couple of sets of second hand ones went for a lot less last week: a set with tyres (to Gouldigger!) for £1.9k and another set (without tyres) for £1.5k.

I'd go to Bamford Rose for the switchable suspension as similar money rather than just get the stiff AM struts
On the wheels those SP v1 wheels are VERY sought after, you are just going to have to hunt for a deal on them.
