Yes he should have checked, but thout should not undertake.
confused Who undertakes who? I just watched both videos again and saw no undertaking taking place.

Also, I'd question why a car is in the outside lane when the inside lane is free if he is undertaking (not condoning the undertaking, but cannot find any evidence of it).
Check post, Peugeot undertook the Merc, that is what your post was referring to. Nothing to with the video, read your own post.

I think we're getting a little confused here. The Peugot undertaking the Merc was my post, not George's. it's something I witnessed. Nothing to do exactly with the video of the idiot on the bike.

My point was that the idiot on the bike did not foresee or anticipate a similar scenario taking place in his overtake. He allowed no room for any error by any other road user or himself. On top of that, his speed was excessive in that situation and then, just to underline his crass ability, he pulls a wheelie at 103 mph. In front of a speed camera van and with no thought whatsoever to the safety of the other road users. Moron. He deserved his ban.

Having said that, I do accept George's point that in some situations, the speed limits make no sense and it may be appropriate to exceed them, safely. I'm sure there isn't a single Aston driver here who hasn't exceeded the limit at some point! smile

The video of the idiot above was NOT one of those moments!!

Indeed, I knew that, think George is getting a bit mixed up, easy to do on this site, no disrespect to George.
