Hi all, as title says, i bought a nitron sport suspension set up for my V8V last year but never got round to fitting them.
Any way i went to fit them in March but would not fit due to the top mount stud PCD being different so i thought i would check that they were the right shocks.
I put 1 along side the removed one to find that it was 47mm shorter.
I sent them back to have this adjusted as they said when i bought them that if i was not happy with the way that they handled i could send them back and have them adjusted to suit me, no mention of rebuild cost.
Had phone call today saying that the shocks were ready and that would be £325+vat thank you very much.
Ileft it at that and said i would be taking legal advice.
Has anyone had these shocks fitted and did it lower the car by 47mm?

47mm is a large drop however the difference in length does not equate to the same in ride height reduction
Spring rate preload and adjuster position will affect it
Curlyapplehead has recent put some on his car
Nitrons are normally very good if they are trying to charge and you think they shouldn't one of you has not been very clear in their expectations wink
I'd call them again and explain with out legal action threats
If you need the MDs name let me know

I know that it will not drop the car by the whole 47mm but i was asked what i wanted, what i would use the car for and how i wanted the car to ride, all was explaned and i did say that the car was not to be lowered.
But by making the travel 47mm shorter on a fast yumpie road the car is going to want to lift the tyres of the road.
I was wrongly advised by them and they did not listen to my request at the start.
When i ring up i get passed from pillar to post and no one rings back if the person i should be talking to is not available.
The shocks were sent back the middle of March and now they are ringing to say that they are sorted.
I don't think i'm having good service here.

Pointless venting on here, find the correct person to speak to (See above post) and explain this to them.
