Smell of petrol!

Just thought I would give an update in case anyone else suffers a similar issue, sorry it has taken so long to report back, been on holiday.
The dealer tells me that in the boot there is an inspection panel for the fuel tank. The seal on the panel had corroded and they are fitting a new seal today. For some reason it is not covered under the AM warranty (seems strange to me!) but they are not going to charge me given that I have only had the car since February.
So another thumbs up for Grange of Brentwood from me. They came to my house and collected the car yesterday and they are delivering it back to my house today. No charge, all part of the service.

Spoke too soon
I have been away on business for a few weeks, took the car out for a spin this morning, the smell of petrol is worse than ever after a 10 minute drive. Grange can't pick the car up so Aston Martin recovery are coming to collect it and take it to them.
Really frustrating, so looking forward to driving the car again to find I can't.
Oh well, I suppose the ownership experience can only get better from now.
I'll let you know what the permanent fix is when/if they find the root cause.

Mmm I suspect it did....I do miss the dust from kronospan though.
That's where I get all my chipboard from If Chirk loses them and Cadbury's? then you're left with a veritable ghost town.
Oops...just got an 80s song in my head by the Specials....
Kronospan is a nightmare place
