And when other on hear abused me did you speak up?

I'm waiting?
I'm sure there are more oppressed people in the world that need me to speak up than us lot crying about some paint bubbles on our Aston Martins. I had paint bubbles on mine, Aston made a contribution and I got on with it, because it was a 2007 car I bought privately. You should forget talking to Aston and go straight to the UN with these crimes.

£3000 worth of "some paint bubbles". How very condescending.

That'll be the Arab sheik run UN bought and paid for by oil that runs my gaydon bubble. Squares the circle nicely eh?

Why, Stuart confused

All you've done is say what everyone else on this thread is saying - there is an issue with AM paintwork on some of their cars.....mine included !!

I post up pictures of my paintwork (others do not for some reason) but I balance that with the exceptional service I received from AM and JCT600 in resolving these issues in and out of warranty, at no cost to me. I have many friends who will follow me on to Aston ownership once finances permit.

You haven't ridiculed anyone. You are just stating an opinion, however theatrical you wish....which you are entitled to do smile
yes
I'd suggest by far the best way to get action is keep hassling the dealers and the factory to sort issues
AM will soon come to realise they need to do it properly rather than fix it afterwards
I would also suspect the new investors will have a point of view on this
I suggest the best action was the one I took. Speak to the dealer. Wait days for a return call. Finally get through to someone else because of no returned call. Explain the problem again. Get told they'll give me £250 ex gracia no liability. Thanks for all your help authorised dealer Reject

Call Aston. Explain problem they reiterate their derisory offer. Advise them I will take further action

Some dealers are indeed more accommodating than others. Some dealers have countrywide monopoly. Absolute power corrupts absolutely eh?
And that's worked for you?
I've had two Vantages both have had a VERY LONG list of warranty issues ALL have been sorted by AM with some perseverance and considerate communication
I'm quiet comfortable that any future issue will be resolved to my OCD like standards in the same way
Enjoy what ever car brand you move on it

Don't worry so have I.

Question what were you're paint issues and what was the bill. How much of it did they pay?

Mikey's cars have been within the 3 year warranty though. And since we've already established it isn't corrosion it wouldn't be covered under the 10 year corrosion warranty.

How interesting. Rest assured though. aston monitor this and other threads. May even have some er, ringers on here lol

Just to remind everyone who has shown genuine interest. This starts with your dealer. If he has a monopoly and is unsympathetic, You're screwed.

In Scotland that the case and that's why they're losing customers hand over foot. I know cos having given them many thousands of pounds in the past and was quite happy to they now take the proverbial pizzz and are certainly pissing off previously loyal customers like myself

Weird way to generate loyalty eh?

Aston and some of their dealers suk!

Just to remind everyone. The first signs were noted and ignored WITHIN THE EXTENDED WARRANTY PERIOD. The dealer ignored them and I didn't realise the importance of the issue until it was far too late

That's one of my major beefs. I did point the paint problem out to the dealer when under warranty. When did he tell me about the problem or fix the damned thing. Kept that blooming quiet

. I now have reason to believe part of the car has previously been " fixed" and ill bet its by the same dealer who incidentally sold the car to the previous owner

What a shower eh?

Yes, funnily enough when you're trying to get work done under warranty it does help if you actually have warranty.

How many times. I already know you're thick because of your spelling, but haven't we already established it's NOT corrosion, therefore NOT covered by the corrosion warranty rolleyes

Thick doesn't cover it? How would you describe yourself then?

I understand this is a bonding issue, however you don't seem to see that a bonding issue is NOT a corrosion issue.

And you don't seem to see this a manufacturing defect. I've always called it a bonding issue
