Sub enclosure upgrade sound...?

No reason why not. In fact, an easy job.
A small amp with line level inputs paralleled off another channel feeding the sub. Sub output is regulated from the amp gain but it's a 'set and forget' for 90% of sources.
Sub components are available in almost any size if you know what to buy. The better drivers start at 6" like the JL audio which is sublime.

The guys are right the standard audio does feature a subwoofer, although it doesn't offer a seperate control as in the premium audio and is smaller, it still adds good depth if you play with the controls.....see link above for location hope this helps
