Just wondered why people chose their user names and who has the best story linked to their name choice. Mine was simple as it is the name of my dog. Not very interesting I know. Who is next ??

YVR is the airport code for Vancouver, where I live. Thought it might be recognized by an owner or two local to me. It appears that there are very few of us here.

Choose any one of these http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/_/dict.aspx?...
Truth is it's the initials my parents chose to give me.

I do a Shrek impression involving multiple party poppers and substantial amounts of alcohol. As Shrek as a user name had been taken, the 667 comes from a mug I saw once that said "667 - the neighbour of the beast" and it just really appealed to me.

Far too excited after I replaced the tailpipe silencers with straight through pipes. Bit embarrassing now.

I was a (mad) scientist and "Doc" was a nickname. When I joined PH I had a 911 Carrera.
Not very interesting ...!

Mines probably obvious. Douglas Adams wrote some of the funniest, wittiest stuff I've ever read and Slartibartfast is a character from Hitchhikers.

Brakedwell is the pitch angle Bristol Britannia propellors passed through on their way to producing reverse. The full sequence was Superfine, Brakedwell and Reverse. nerd
