Service record after the 8th year.
Discussion
Just had a look at my service book and there's no where to record services after the 8th year, which seams a bit strange, so what's to be done after the 8th year, can Aston supply supplementary pages? Or do all cars self district at this point.

No, they don't self destruct. They do turn into a pole of white powder. So it's more like a cremation in that you can put it on your mantle piece in an urn.
I'm doing an offer at the moment if anyone's interested Sorry, David, askjockman is under maintenance at the moment

I was told (rightly or wrongly) that your only option is to buy a new owners manual from AM. Instead, I have created the pages for the 9th plus years and added them to the original (the manual comes apart easily so that you can insert them).Edited by davidexige on Wednesday 12th June 14:36
If anyone wants copies of the files (so they can print them out) let me know.

AM now do supplementary pages to go beyond the 8th Year. I got some from my dealer (Harwoods), who fitted them in the service book for my DB9 for the princely sum of £7 plus VAT.

Is it just me that thinks that is so completely pathetic?
I mean really! Couldn't they just give the pages away FFS.
It's their fault the service record pages don't go up to a reasonable age. The fact that they've got to retrofit pages to the manual is short-sighted enough. To seek to charge the customer to remedy is beyond belief.
Next they'll be charging for the paper they print the invoice on.

Totally agree......mind blowing stupidity .......that will irritate the hell out of me if my dealer tries to charge me £7 for a page supplement
X1 - I do a round trip of 600 miles for a service in large part to avoid this sort of utter c---p from dealers- they think we are mugsGassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
