Not really an insult but I thought it was funny - filling up as usual - some guys walks past and says "wow these Capri replicas are getting pretty good "

Not in my Aston but I still love this one

Whilst being in Tatton Park watching an open air concert.....eating a whole lobster and sipping Bollinger a lady came up to me and called me " the most arrogant man she had ever met" I thanked her and asked if she would care for a glass of champagne ......she declined and stormed off

She of course was right
Yes but she didn't realise you would take it as a compliment
I did take it as a compliment ......one of the nicest things anybody has ever said to me !

Not had an insult in my GT as yet, except for the time some young lads thought it was a DB9.

Back in the 90's when I had my XJ40, some door men who I'd stopped to ask for directions called me a drug dealer as I walked back to the car.

It was a run down part of a run down town and I had a nice shiny Jag.

After owning the V12V for only a week or so, I had two very attractive ladies tell me 'nice car' with a cheeky smile at two separate filling stations! (felt like I was in some 90's Peugeot commercial! wink )

As far as insults go... none yet. Always just jealousy though, isn't it.

Had three bald van drivers give us various hand signals when they attempted to race us in France. They really were very angry...

No insults in the Aston but once when looking at a Maserati on a forecourt, a white van passed and the passenger shouted 'posh tt'.... my wife thought it was hilarious.

In the Aston last weekend, a group of teenagers spotted the car approaching, and applauded when I drove past!

In our first Aston (can't believe as of today, through a bizarre twist of fate we are in our 3rd!) we were driving through a quaint Dorset village when Rob stopped for 2 women to cross the road and one of them asked for a ride!!! B*tch! Didn't she notice that he was already giving me one?! (oo-er misses etc)!

This really. I think this is the normal public response and that Astons are quite popular in this country. I'm surprised to hear so many people getting insulted whilst driving one.
Wish I had one. frown

We had some nutter in a white van go careering past us with his mate giving us a thumbs up through the window, was expecting a different gesture to be honest but it was really nice!
