I haven't got a clue what goes on between your ears as I tend to deal in facts.

Simply by reading your posts whenever a Jag is mentioned on this forum you come out with the same disparaging remarks against anyone who shows a bias towards an Aston...On an Aston forum !!! For months you say that this makes you even more determined to try whatever new Jag is about then give no feedback whatsoever.

If you're not happy with the banter that goes on here then you shouldn't feel obligated to hang around just to criticise the views of some owners. Funny how some people come onto this forum and feel at home straight away and receive useful advice from others.

Oh, and I'm not English either.
What exactly do you think he has said that is so wrong?

confused

Suk - sorry for starting a thread.
No worries at all please share your thoughts smile

I was just jesting and making comment about jags/astons maybe this came out the wrong way! Yes jags make great cars but my personal opinion is that the astons have the "X factor" and that's why the jags I've been in don't compare. Maybe that's what makes them special.

Riccardinho - i didn't repeat anything and if it annoys you then don't read my comment. Some of your comments annoy me but you don't see me commenting on them do you? This has nothing to do with "packs" it's just that your comment about me (which you indirectly refer to me as being an upset aston owner) makes you sound like an idiot because it is far from the truth. I'm generalising about jags and astons not referencing the f type at all. Get your facts right next time before you start making assumptions, I'm not upset and I'm not jealous jag have made a car that is a direct competitor to the vantage. It really doesn't bother me!

I'm reading this thread and struggling to see what the problem is.

Same here

I am afraid you are not reading them well.
I have myself a bias towards Aston. My remarks are eventually towards who insist in treating other cars as bad only because they are not Astons or for whom seems to be more interested in saying I have an Aston and others are less, pleb etc. Personally I find that disgusting and that is not a bias
If you do not do that why do you offend?

Jockman said:

For months?? I mentioned that in the F-Type thread
Jaguar Racing Heart is at the end of july, still had no time to try one as, as mentioned I travel a lot and I need to work to live.
Not sure it is useful to post comments of the driving experience with a Jaguar here because it is an Aston forum. I remember when somebody did it in the F-Type thread

There are still some useful advices which are interesting to read and as said I do not post a lot (certainly not like you). Sometimes I express my opinion on things which is what forum are for, those might be criticism or congratulations or share the joy. The banter is very annoying but what can I do, I do not own the forum and they seems to be much more tolerant than in other forums.
Anyway you do not need to read my post if you do not like them as I try to do for the banter (and at least my post are not OT)

???
I have only quoted a sentence from you and then made my comment in general on the discussion not referring to anybody specifically. Then I have responded to Jockman in relation to his comments (personal).

Not sure who might look like an idiot here.
Are you an upset Aston owner? Can you explain what was offensive in my post even if you are one of those upset Aston Owner?
I do not assume anything and I have not referred to anybody in particular and I have just said "seems". I am glad it does not apply to you but so why you react like this?

I think somebody need to take some medication to relax here

Thanks for pointing that out

It seems that posting an opinion which was not attacking anybody (eventually I was concerned it might have offended who opened the discussion which was not certainly my intention as my question was in general) is enough to be offended very directly by some individuals

Guess I should have just said "of course the Jag is just a much lower league and the Evo people and the others are stupid as it cannot be compared with an Aston"

You post the very same opinion whenever anyone dares to show a bias - on an Aston forum - towards an Aston over a Jag, regardless of how ineloquently they might put it.

After a while it becomes tedious and tiresome.

I have no recollection of calling any reviewer or jag owner "stupid" either.

It is obviously not correct as I have just explained but you are the one who only deals with fact so you are certainly right. I do not like and understand a certain attidute vs Jag, Lamborghini or the taste of arabic owners etc etc etc expressed by some people. Probably it is a cultural thing like the fact that I cannot understand that somebody can insult you for the car that you have (which I have learnt today is not unusual in UK)

Jockman said:

Do not read my messages then so you do not have to offend with no reason if you do not understand. You have only taken the discussion OT once more. At least it is not tedious and tiredsome as all the OT banter which you also seem to enjoy and for which you do not complain

Jockman said:

Honestly do not care if you did it or not but did I say you did that? You did not even provide comments in this thread other than attacking me. You must have something personal against me

Now sorry but I really find this discussion with you boring and OT so whatever you say you are right

bye

The usual drama queen rubbish
Can't you find another forum to troll on instead of hovering over this one ready to pounce on Aston owners who mention the F word? - strange how you're always about when that happens.

Maybe even the Jaguar forum as you are a previous owner?

I suppose you've never been to France and seen the distaste with which many high end marques are treated over there? I don't accept your cultural argument and I disagree that your default setting when faced with an Aston owner being insulted is that he may well have brought it on himself.

Hi sheriff
keep your silly advices and conclusion for you, do not need them. Still like Aston Martin (maybe not some annoying and offensive owner) and will keep on reading the interesting stuff here and providing comment here when I feel appropriate

I do not care what you accept or not or which cultural discussion you undertand or not (funnily I have been living in France for 5 years and still have my house there so you keep on making wrong analysis/assumptions)
Do not understand why you try to turn everything I write in a personal attack towards any Aston Owner.
My overall idea from the beginning was very easy, usually the one shouting he has a bigger one, not comparable, in a different league, different is the one with the smaller d@@@. Do not think an Aston owner needs to do that, it is just not elegant as the car he/he owns

PS: I have seen a lot of nice car owners in London behaving in a way that would easily attract deserved insults (some also with Astons and they were even proudly reporting things here with road races, driving licenses taken by French police for speeding on wet roads etc)

PS2: if you stop insulting me maybe we can move on

The comments on French views are not mine. They are those of a regular French poster whose opinion I value a lot more than yours.

You would have known that if you didn't troll this forum. Did you live in France with your eyes shut?

If nothing else at least other people will be more aware of you now.

Indeed.

And one of us doesn't even own an Aston.

does not look like a 911 biggrin

So you had Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche but no Aston, are you planning to buy one now? Is the Vantage the best in road presence?
