Today Robgt took me out to lunch. Not too far away - can't be doing with bank holiday traffic & motorways nono

It made his day when we saw a bloke gawping at the car as we drove through a village - you could see him say 'wow' smile

Then I got to drive home which made my day biggrin

Jealous. I just sat in front of the TV all day watching it.

Some great racing. The supersport race was brilliant as always. As were the stock 600s.

And to see Chris Walker up there in BSB was fantastic too!

Cleaned it in preparation for tomorrows Vanquish day at WS, then down to the barn followed by dinner somewhere near the Thames. Early start tomorrow.

Went to Harwoods in Chichester to have the front wing indicator lamp fixed then up to Petersfield to drop it off with my detailer for a full machine polish and show prep. Then having the complete front end covered in ventureshield to protect the paintwork.

All ready for the big 'Pride & Joy' charity event at Beaulieu on the 5th May..

Spent the morning at AM Works along with over 60 other Vanquish plus another 17 Vanquish on lifts in their workshop's (quiet Nick)for National Vanquish day. This was followed my a trip over to AMOC HQ and a talk about the Heritage Trust and of course the Vanquish. It was noisy in Newport Pagnell this morning.

Absolutely fantastic day.
Picture just taken back at the hotel ready to start on a few beers!

Drove into London West End, received a very satisfying nod from the doorman at the Taj Hotel in Belgravia as I drove past. He declined to nod at the Gallardo revving away in front of me. Says it all... doormen have the best taste in cars, they know class when they see it!
