Yes it bloomin well was noisy. I was in Range Rover garage in Newport trying to do a deal on a new RRS and all you could hear was you Vanquish lot accelerating towards the M1 after the roundabout just outside Newport!!!!
So did you order one, and if so what type and expected delivery? Great cars.

The real Vanquishes look infinitely superior to the replacement (in name).
True. But this is better still IMHO:

And with two straight-through pipes nicely hidden it (apparently) sounds like a Vanquish should.

New set of tyres fitted with a 4-wheel Geo done, definitely feels better so far but need a few more miles yet to be 100%. Was going to wash it but rain was too frequent, will have to be in the week.

Took a very pretty girl to Southampton so I could stand about making helpful comments while she shoe shopped and fascinatior shopped for an upcoming wedding. Then on to an Italian restaurant where she bought me dinner to say thank you and then back to the bar.
I've had worse days with that car.

Yes, deposit placed on a chilli red HSE dynamic 3.0d which will be our every day family bus. Expect delivery in September...jumped out of Porsche Macan turbo order, Porsche can't give me a specific enough time for delivery. So we will have another Gaydon built all alluminium car and two British built cars on the drive when the RRS arrives...that hasn't happened for a long while...been German mainly!

Wife took it out today. She is a very good driver. Only has a bit of a problem with stationary objects. She drove it into the front of our house when attempting to park it on the drive!

The good lady's pride took more of a bashing than the car. Minor nicks to the bumper and bonnet. Will have to get sorted before Wales though to make sure she (the car) is on best form. Hopefully not toooo expensive, will get quotes next week.

We had a nice drive to Bakewell where we had Sunday roast in the farmers cafe. Then cruised through Matlock Bath and gave the hairy bikers some V12 delight biggrin

Aha. Were you lot arriving just before 12, (as I was leaving)? Four or five black or dark grey DB9 or V8Vs, shortly followed by a green V8V?

Bravo,

That would be some of the Massive on tour…….a selection of Black and Greys on parade a bit like an upmarket funeral cortege….hehe

Go on then which one cut you up…………….biggrin

The Green Vantage was I believe the new incoming Suffolk area AMOC representative making a visit.
