Replaced front subframe bushes and did rear pads last week.

Also re-torqued all the wishbone nuts/bolts on both sides.

Prevention is often better than a cure :-)

She would have had it if I was driving. Rather pay for a new front splitter than a whole car....

Not sure why they need to measure the depth of the primer and paint, it's only the lacquer they're dealing with. And two guys in 8 hours after phaffing about with laptops and microscopes would achieve no visibly better results than any competent detailer in my opinion. Still, I can see why the Veyron case needs to be seen to be special. smile

Took mine on a trip up to the Scottish Highlands for a wedding. Stayed at a Biking B&B due to it being the only room available, but luckily the owner was a big Aston fan and let me park in the bike only zone smile

I'm getting slightly conscious that I'm doing a lot of miles. What is considered high mileage in a Vantage?

I've done almost 6k miles in under a year...

Lol - 6k is nothing to a Gaydon car.
Why buy a car if you are too scared to drive it? wink

Went to a charity show for Special Olympics. Parked up next to this beauty, and saw my first ever P1 (painted in a bright emerald green with matching wheels). Car is considerably smaller in real life than what I imagined from seeing photos. It was parked next to a Veyron...meh.

Agreed. I bought it at 3 years old on 11k miles, now it's just under 4, with 17k!

Just worried the value will drop off a cliff once it goes above a certain mileage?

Went to Beaulieu for the Supercar 'Showdown'. Managed to fit a sprint in before they cancelled the event due to rain....

Up my game? Lol. I've just detailed the first uk 918 spyder and I'm sure it was a lot harder work than this one, especially when they would only polish half the car. I personally think it was set up and done for free, not 3k. No dealer would pay that, they are all tight.

However, I think I need to put my prices up! Lol.
