I am definitely going to drive Spa again next year - try and hold me back - that it one hell of a day out. One of the best and most memorable car events I have ever experienced smile
I would be up for this William. We could discuss further on the Scotland Hooning?

Next year - I think Spa could be for your Sir?
That, dear Will, is a certainty! I would have been there this year but for poorly timed worky stuff going on.

Tony, good detective work smile Was it dry when you went?
Hotel de Source: Great clean and functional hotel, visibility of track in negligible, location is ideal for pre-track day night. we found a great Chateau to stay at the other nights, turned out, so did 6 other AM's too - that was really funny!

I am definitely going to drive Spa again next year - try and hold me back - that it one hell of a day out. One of the best and most memorable car events I have ever experienced smile
We have been lucky on the two previous years Will as each day had been glorious sunshine. Perfect trackday weather driving The infamous Belgian monsoons saved themselves for the trip home - especially last year as Cockers can vouch for whistle
Yes the microclimate at Spa is something I am now aware of, you were lucky with the weather! We had two days of great sunshinesmile. Were you with AML On-Track or with another tack day event?

Not as fast as some people on the 19th but went to Snetterton and drove round the track. Good selection of cars there in the AMOC parking but not may V8 Vantages probably only 3 out of the 30 car in the AMOC area.

This car looked good with doubled up wheeels at the rear 1937 SS Jaguar 3500cc

Attended a nice little Fall all-British car show. Not many Astons, but nice ones!

Picked up my DB9 after having the leaking brake sorted, and the diff oil change. All problems seem sorted now, which is great! 2 weeks without the car is too long.

On the way back caught up to a DB7 Zagato. I wasn't aware there was one on the island, but from the back it does look great. Was nice to be cruising on the coast road in the sunshine and the sound of two V12's bouncing off the granite walls was great. smile

Took it to Top Car Detail in Puerto Banus. Like new again. Perfect. If you are ever in Spain and driving around the coast, i recommend you let Jose get his magic done.

Nice little road trip over the last few days taking in a visit to friends in Prestwick followed by a wee diversion to North Wales on the way home taking in bits of the A453, A4086, A5, A470, A4212 and B4391.

Brilliant roads with very little traffic, not many pics as was far too busy enjoying driving to stop! Weather even held but car is filthy and in need of a serious wash.

Had a track day at Goodwood sponsored by Harwoods. Car handles really well in the rain and Georgina managed to get another few laps under professional instruction. (I must remember to press the 'Quiet' button next time otherwise the chap with the Black Flag will give me another telling off....)
