Project TeaSpn: Final Zagato Wave custom interior panels fitted, next stage, I need to apply a "single" Zagato wave down the center of each of my new carbon seats:
ahhh, also note new gloss black fascia panels - clear buttons installed and remaining missing ones being made. I am really pleased with the outcome - changes the emotion of the car entirely, it feels very high-end.

The new V5 arrived for the change of registration so I thought I would remove the plinth to see how it looked as I was changing the plates anyway. After negotiating the over engineering on the front and positioning the plate with top aligned to the bottom of the grille, I jumped in the car to turn it round to do the back, only to hear the parking sensor constantly on. Although there is a 2" gap each side the parking sensors on the front must be detecting it. The plinth is back on.

How many characters in your registration??

Could you have a much narrower plate if only 5 or 6 characters which would clear the sensors??

My plate is 3 letters and 1 number and is 30 cms wide (covers the holes in the bumper) and I have no problems.

I would put your surname in the classifieds on here, always had a good response to parts I have advertised on PH and its free so nothing to lose.

It is 5 characters so that is the next route to go down if I decide to pursue it

Had a very wet run early this morning to a rather wet n windy Goodwood breakfast club bash, met a lovely couple in their Merc and a drier drive home. Shame the weather affected the numbers but still some great cars on show.

The previous owner of my car had additional tint added to all the side and rear windows, so dark that it was completely illegal on the sides, leaving me at risk of three points on the old licence. Had it all ripped out yesterday to the factory tint (Though left the rear hatch) and not only does it look a hundred times better, now legal!

Oh, and bought a "V8" plate for it this morning. smile
