Back on topic!
Drove to London yesterday and went to see the Poppies at the Tower this morning. If you've not been then go if you can it is really quite an experience. Mona in tears and me with lump in my throat. Wasn't expecting it to be so emotional, but when you think that each poppy represents someone who died for his country it just gets to you! There's just so many.
Nice trip back to Richmond on a boat in the (mostly)sunshine then driove home. That's another 500 odd miles...11k plus now.

Agree they now need to do more on price. It hasn't been reduced for ages and when I enquired in August they only offered me £38,500 for my well specced, excellent condition MY2009 4.7 V8V which they would have put straight back on the forecourt at £50K+. Wasn't anywhere near enough to help me get over my concerns re press car etc. so I'm taking my time waiting for the perfect CB V12V to come along when I'm properly ready to change. Struck me that they didn't really want to sell it that much with a PX offer like that.
imo this above is why this car has not sold. As it has not sold i think they should price it around £90k i think it would go then.

+one more went Saturday evening - a very atmospheric and emotional experience. Topped off with a good drive back to Reading listening to the glorious V12 sound bouncing off the buildings in London!

Spent 6000 bucks on annual service and timing cover fix (oil leak) plus sundry other items. Doing my bit for the US and UK economies.

Yes indeed, the custom side stand. 999s are reknown for leaning at a bizarre angle so a bit of 4 by 2 makes me rest a little easy.
Too many Ducatis? never! You need at least 3 to guarantee one of em working when you fancy a blast smile

Got four new tyres put on today, but unfortunately the garage couldn't do the alignment as they didn't have the Vantage details?!? Seems odd.

Today i have called at the local bodyshop to get a price to sort out the door handle bubbles. By the time we had walked round the stone chips and other slight imperfections i am awaiting a quote for virtuallly a full bottom half.
