So what have you done with your Aston today?

Today I've updated the Sat Nav to the 2014 maps which also adds some new features like full postcodes and camera alerts. Although I'm only half-way through the 3 hour update process so what comes out the other side is yet to be confirmed.
How do you do that? My 2010 seems miles out of date

To be honest with you I tried to unravel the Sat Nav thread but in the end I called the dealer in Derby who dispatched the latest discs. Not for free by the way, but not an offensive amount of money either. Insert disc and the update is sorted.

Who knows, you may even get yourself a car soon I was discussing my house move with Vanquish Neil t'other day - I believe he is at an AM bash with you, Tone and Jeff soon - and there was a bit of man maths going on regarding a DBS but hey watch this space.
My daughter came home from her university for the Thanksgiving holiday, so the two of us took out my DB9 Volante to enjoy the last bit of autumn blue sky. We had the top down in 50 degree F (10C) temperatures for two hours and didn't mind a bit. She drove, and her grin proved she is truly my daughter!

It's not funny if you think your wife is playing away.
My suspicions were raised when my daughters grew a lovely head of hair,me being bald ,just set me wondering.
Anyway we went to relate and apparently it's quite normal.
Best day of my life to be told that.
Unfortunately we have recently divorced, our third child,a son,was black.
Even relate couldn't explain that to my satisfaction.

My door sill plates look a bit water stained and I can't seem to get them to clean up nicely. I had an idea to have them repainted body colour, has anyone else ever done this and how does it look? I've bought a second set from ebay this weekend to try it out on, just in case I don't like it.
I've just ordered some wrap to cover mine after a few feet marks have scratched them No sure painting is going to be very durable
The 4D silver CF was a bit nasty looking
So I've decided on another route
I'm going to get the S "sweeps" painted in the body colour then wrap the sill in 3M DI NOC and cut the S "sweeps" out so they show through in body colour
Should be a lot more scuff resistant than the OEM anodised finish and easy enough to replace if it gets tatty.
