So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Curbed an alloy. Always reverse into my work parking space, but was being lazy today and drove straight in, caught nearside front wheel. Rookie error that could have made me cry when I saw it! Going to have to refurb it as soon as possible as I'm sure every time I look at it it will hurt me inside, ha! Bad times!
On the plus side used the heated seats for the first time properly today and was impressed with how hot they got so quickly!

I didn't 'gel' with the car until it was done.
Even Jockman felt the difference!

I hope Justin remembered to put weights in the boot. I had a dead body in there from a previous job.
Once you touch a kerb the alignment is gone again so it can turn out to be an expensive repeat mod

The 4D silver CF was a bit nasty looking
So I've decided on another route
I'm going to get the S "sweeps" painted in the body colour then wrap the sill in 3M DI NOC and cut the S "sweeps" out so they show through in body colour
Should be a lot more scuff resistant than the OEM anodised finish and easy enough to replace if it gets tatty.
Cool. My spare set have gone in today to be done in body colour (tungsten) and they should be done for when I get back next weekend. Guy doing the work seems to think that a few coats of industrial lacquer should see them be pretty durable, only time will tell I suppose. Will post pics next weekend once I fit them. He said the other option would be to clear wrap them after painting, so that might be option two if the first goes wrong! So I've decided on another route

My task seems quite menial compared to the big workshop jobs some posters have been doing here. I just polished out the rear plastic stone protectors on my V8VR, something I had been meaning to do in my nearly 2 month's ownership. Managed to improve them slightly, but it pays to make it a regular task since there seems to be a lot of dirt staining.
