Looks like a good run out Ian. Whats that car to the right of yours? winkfirst picture.
Hi Paul, yes a good run with my new tyres (pZeros) which I felt far more comfortable pushing on with. The car to the right was a DB9V - although it looks more like a DBS in the picture.

Just seen the rainbow comes to ground through my car so better go and see if the pot of gold is in the boot!!! biglaugh

No Ian in the first picture it looks like a V12V but not sure what colour it is.
Agree the new approved by Aston PZeros should be better.

Ah!!!! That right. Yes it is a V12V in Hardly Green. Great colour and here is a better picture of it on a tour we did with them back in 2010. It really is a fantastic colour!

As a green V8V owner who seriously hankers after a V12 it doesn't get much better than that, does it?

Sold my plane too mate!! Just not doing enough flying to justify the cost of keeping it. After 4 years of AM just fancied a change. Much as I loved the DBS, I have to say that I enjoyed the overall more sporty driving experience of the V8V to the GT DBS. I know that will be sacrilege to the 12 cylinder brigade. Unfortunately though the Vantage only has the 2 seats otherwise I may have been tempted into a V12V. So looked into other options and Ferrari took me to Millbrook to drive the Cali T which I thought was great. My 2 boys made the final decision and so the deed is done.

Shame on both counts matey, especially the plane! That said, good work on the Ferrari, when do you take custody? Keep popping in to say hello and enjoy the new car. Have a great Xmas and NY.

Will probably be around April / May next year. Hopefully in time for a scorching summer. Just trying to decide on final spec at present. I'll be lurking here no doubt. Wishing you a great Xmas / NY too mate.

yes I've drive the T a couple of times now and am tempted. Waiting times are getting stupid though as dealers are only allocated 2-3 slots per month for them!
Interesting comment on the DBS being less sporty than the Vantage.
Good luck with the T

My V8V Roadster is getting its windscreen removed and refitted to cure the leak.
Fingers crossed it doesn't crack or get damaged.
The windscreen company doing the work fitted a new windscreen to a Rolls Royce recently…an eye watering £12K

Got my car back after the windscreen was removed and refitted, no drama.
The fitter said the seal at the drivers side vertical edge was shot and causing the leak.
A very reasonable £110 + VAT to do the work

Went to Waitrose for the weekly shop, scared some old people in the car park when I started her up evil

I'm quite enjoying Aston ownership.

It was cold but sunny today (about 36F, 2C), and I woke my DB9 Volante up from slumber and took a friend out for lunch. She has a Tesla Roadster, so I let her drive my car.
She kept talking about how much she loves the Aston sound, so we cranked the heater up and opened put the top down.
It was worth it. I'm not sure you can feel cold when you're grinning that much.
