So what have you done with your Aston today?

I guess you didn't let the concierge park the car for you! So much more elegant than the usual oligarchs cars parked in the cul de sac. My Rapide wouldn't get round the "fountain" without having to back up. ..
Actually I did. On arrival the head guy walked around the car specifically noted no damage to the wheels. He did the same when the car was returned back. Good to know they check for this. That said, no idea where it had been for 48 hours. Not sure I want to know Edited by DB4DM on Sunday 21st December 19:16
Interesting mix of cars in the cul de sac, a Bentley, a Toyota and an F type
Best regards

Popped up to Burford yesterday to buy some flavoured balsamic vinegar from Mrs Bumbles. Good day for a little road trip and made it back to mine without using the motorway at all.
Car needs a clean now as it's got a smattering of Cotswolds on the side, but that's understandable after a frivolous 250 mile morning.
That six quid bottle was somewhat expensive.

Stayed there during the summer - the good thing about using the concierge is that you see (and hear) your own car rolling up to the main entrance in the morning. Rarely get to appreciate it from that perspective.Edited by DB4DM on Sunday 21st December 19:16
Just revelled in the sight and sound of my Vantage as Mrs Pants backed it off the drive and scooted off up to road in it. She really is a thing of beauty (I'm referring to the Aston)
Then called AM Works and gave them a long list of things that they need to fix, they’re picking it up on the 5th Jan.

Drove to work this morning from Victoria Park, East London to Padddington.
On the rare occasions I have driven to the office (cycling is more deadly but much quicker) it has taken up to an hour and a half.
This morning it took 28 minutes, I got into FOURTH gear at one point and even had to slow down for a speed camera on Marylebone Road.
Merry Christmas indeed
Now to fill the car up with gifts (for others) I had sent to the office, hampers and various bottles of plonk and head home

No one is ever driving mine again Josh - 2 grazed front wheels - none of it me. Its a big car to wrangle in tight spaces so you need familiarity - nice touch by the hotel to note those details though. And I'll never forget a Corvette's brand new door bouncing down Ocean Drive as the valet opened it into a passing car Some al fresco diners laughed but I cried!Interesting mix of cars in the cul de sac, a Bentley, a Toyota and an F type
