So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Had en early morning blast through Lancashire and Yorkshire with Dashing Daz and his friend Steve.
Down to -5 at times but the Sottozero's were fantastic. These pics are at the top of Buttertubs Pass in the Dales, a must if any of you are in the area.
A most agreeable sausage and egg Butty at Simonstone Hall then home to find the chassis washer!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

Pics don't do them justice. They fill up the wheel wells perfectly, nice and flush with the body without protruding. I'm very happy with the way they turned out!

They look tremendous, what are they (inc sizes offsets etc)?
They're from a company called BC Forged. I kept the OEM sizing but specified my own offset. I put together some info here:http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/aston-martin/35...

Yes they were supplied by JCT600 when I bought the car. I get them swapped over in December and swap back to the Corsas in spring. They are specified by Aston so don't know why anyone would have an issue fitting to the same rims.
Drew most on here believe that you have to change the rims for the winter tyres and there has been a few posts from owners not being able to fit winter tyres to the standard rims.So good to know thats its possible.

Really,I wonder where that myth started? Perhaps someone trying to make a few quid selling an extra set of rims!
It's not a myth. The advice on the Aston website re winter wheels is that Sottozeros will not fit on the standard V12V rim. I know quite a few people with V12V's who run winter tyres on their cars and all use the approved rim. Actually look pretty good. Wonder what the position is with an insurance claim where you are using a tyre and rim combination that the manufacturer states the tyre doesn't fit the rim?

Thanks Paul. I've seen that but still doesn't explain the difference in rims and why they state the winters don't fit the standard rims when they do! I'm sure the guy that's swapped them four times now, wouldn't have done it if they weren't compatable.
Mine are winter 270 series 2 if it makes a difference. I'll clarify it with the dealer tomorrow but I'm more than happy with the set up as it is.
