So what have you done with your Aston today?

Drove 130 miles to see a 1980 V8. Always fancied one since birth. But would I take one on now? I'm not sure.
You don't start an AMV8. Think of it more like waking up a miserable old man who's been on the scotch the night before. It pops, bangs, spits fire before roaring into life with a hangover that can only be cured by more fuel.
Driving it you can almost feel that every single component was machined by a bloke called Ken on a wet Wednesday afternoon and bolted together with a set of hammers. Although on second thoughts, I wouldn't be surprised if it was chiseled out of the side of a volcano.
Living with it I guess, could be a bit like owning a bear. Totally adorable, expensive and at some point, it will kill you. Probably twice.

The 3 of us were also fortunate enough to drive the 570bhp GMR supercharged Vantage.
Like a different car! Properly quick.
Although none of us could decide if it was worth the £15k plus vat!
Looked at it last year at Brands. Its not £15k though as you then need bigger brakes etc. How many have they converted? When I talked to them it ws only 2, which they owned.Like a different car! Properly quick.
