Picked it up from its first service (5 year but first in my ownership).. I have had it for three months and felt the SS gearbox was very agricultural, especially after coming from a 911 PDK. On the way home it is a lot smoother. I don"t know what they did but it"s a huge improvement
That PDK is an absolute stunning gem - even better than the Ferarri California one I recently drove. I think it also says a lot about Aston that I got the torque converter car in the end . The engine/looks/noise/interior just trumped.Risked life and limb taking mine to Nicks place for it to be picked up by Bamford Mike for its latest service. (Mike was delivering the Mooses' DB9) Snow was a bit deeper than we thought! Entertaining watching my car being driven rather expertly up an icy country incline.....sideways.
Thankfully, it had melted by the time I picked it up this afternoon, in fact there were even a couple of dry patches.
Thanks again to BR for their outstanding service, car still looks and sounds amazing!
Be safe out there kids......

"Thankfully, it had melted by the time I picked it up this afternoon, in fact there were even a couple of dry bits"
Presumably the half hour you spent at the front of BR looking for the workshop at the back allowed the last bits of snow/ice to disappear allowing you to look like the superhero/fighter pilot that you are on the way home.

Too funny Woolders, just annoyed the wife by interrupting some ste tv by giggling like a child. Sukh, thankfully my lack of cylinders made dealing with the snow relatively easy.....thought I'd get that in before you did!

Can't believe you omitted the ride back to yours in the Wobble Car Thankfully, it had melted by the time I picked it up this afternoon, in fact there were even a couple of dry patches.

I actually already have the yellow calliper paint and AM calliper transfer lettering.
Hi Nigel,Would you mind pointing to me in the direction where you got these from? I understand you need special paint for brakes due to the heat etc.
Also thinking of going the DIY yellow caliper route. Would be great to see how you get on with it.
Cheers,
Adam
