For the first time in nearly 5 years, put Fuse22 back in.
Then drove to a funeral
Must remember to take the fuse back out.
Its a bit quiet.

Had my boot release button fixed and cruise control enabled - already had a suitable steering wheel. I also took delivery of a U480 fault code reader which I used today to read the fault code I had and reset it. P0420 and p0430 which are to do with the car not thinking the 200 cell cats running efficiently. Car needs a good run which is difficult in the cold weather!

Hi Nigel,

Would you mind pointing to me in the direction where you got these from? I understand you need special paint for brakes due to the heat etc.

Also thinking of going the DIY yellow caliper route. Would be great to see how you get on with it.

Cheers,
Adam

I'll see how I get on.

The rear handbrake calliper is already black and seems a bit lost behind the black wheel, so going for black callipers is not an option (imo).
As I have a black and yellow theme going on [Beau Bee smile ] I think I'll go for the yellow callipers and black lettering.

Actually this was yesterday,,,,here in a bracing northerly airflow of 15kts, air temp +2C, wind chill -3C, Francis, sporting his favourite really warm shorts, demonstrates his huge 'commitment' to the marque,,,a true stalwart. hehe

That's the locking wheel nut which the caps don't fit over. I may find a way of getting them to stay on the locking nuts but for now at least it's an 80% improvement biggrin

When I recently had my bonnet vent grilles painted satin black I didn't consider how I'd get the front wing ones out to do the same, can anyone tell me how to access them? Is it a remove the wheels and arch liner job? Need them to match these now!

Well not in my Aston which is back in Blighty, but had a very pleasant run out in yvr's gorgeous DB9 up to Whistler, nr. Vancouver BC. Great for us two and the car seemed to love it as well despite the foul weather at times.

The power of PH, put out a call just last night that I was visiting and hooked up with someone local today, just what the forum should be about.

150 miles round trip yesterday with hashluck in mostly wet weather but +10C temperatures. Sea level to 2,200 feet at the mountain base. Couldn't have done it today as it's -3C and snowing in Whistler.

BTW: In North America, the phrase "hooked up" is a euphemism for casual sex. Just want to be clear, there was none of that. He did buy me a nice lunch in Whistler though. smile

Great to meet a fellow PHer on home turf.
