Nice to see things moving in the right direction Ian,the car looks epic.
Dig the plate,Eleanor and I were wondering what you would come up with on that front.
On a side note could you pm me with a contact address for Andrew ? who rocked up in the Teal Blue Roadster,
if you have it yet as he was after an AML Plate……….and my mate is now letting his go.
Enjoy your motoring……...

Very nice car Ian. Is your AMOC badge blue instead of red to match the colour of your car? Nice touch. I guess it is more difficult to attach to the mesh grille.
Partly in our thinking but it is an Aston Martin Hetigage Trust badge rather than an AMOC badge and the blue goes well with the rest of the car. It was pretty difficult to fit and I am really pleased that Zaff fitted it for me. Let's just say that the fitting screws are better suited to a conventional grill rather than the mesh grill on ours.Aston Traveller said:
Looks gorgeous Looking forward to seeing it the flesh (or metal!)
I would not know how to choose which to drive. What a dilemma to have
Enjoy Fay
Hi Fay. A great position to be in but with everything we have lined up this year both will get a good run out. It is really amazing how different they are to drive and how they sound. If you are at the Bonhams auction or the concours she will be there . Let's hope the sun shines!I would not know how to choose which to drive. What a dilemma to have
Enjoy Fay

Eagerly awaiting your feedback on your opinion and experience of the differences between the two cars. I hope you don't mind, I think it is quite unique to own both cars so who better than you can tell us how different they are. I'd like to buy a V12 Roadster and there are two LHD manuals available for sale, more choice with the V12VSR but I've driven a 4.7L V8V with Sportshift on a track day and didn't really like the gearbox (maybe due to my lack of experience with Sportshift). I'm guessing the V12VR has a more analogue feel because of the manual gearbox and fixed dampers. There's a rumour AML will make the manual available soon on the V12VS so that may be worth waiting for.L0TT0 said:
Was accessed through a small hole in the trim panel at floor level behind drivers seat in my V8V if I remember correctly Spesch
Thanks mate. Have already Googled it and reset - everything good. Didn't even need to reset windows. Fully expect to get up at 5:30 tomorrow to find it won't start. Still on its original battery - 9 years oldNeil1300r said:

You mean it's not in the FAQ? What have you been up to? Tosspot.theaxe said:
Stunning. What did you have done?
Car was originally built to Vantage spec and during the petrol crisis the Webers were taken off and replaced with SU carbs . It was always my intention to put it back to production specification . As the car was nearly 50 years old and with the specialists , decided to have the bottom end re built at the same time Fortunately the block was sound and the work went as planned with no nasty surprises!
