So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
With appropriate respect, opened the sacrarium door, stepped a pace inside, quietly closing the door behind me. I turned around, there before me, magnificent to behold, Vesuvius stands, shrouded in her glorious Volcano red cloak. As if seeing her for the first time, in absolute awe I stood, fearing that to move might break the dream. Where on earth could there be anything more beautiful, anything that could equal the combination of her supreme elegance with such powerful lines. For that moment, there was not another earthly component in my mind, a paradise, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

up and down the A1 several times today and just loving it. the new cover with its aerial sock is still funny to look at. am still in love
I may be a tad wide of the target here vankypanky, only, well, you do seem to be rather preoccupied with your erection and, well, people on here are starting to talk and well, I'm sure you wouldn't want to send the wrong message, orientation wise, if you follow. Ed50 said:
Bob,
Are you finding any improved MPG from using the V Power or do you choose it for other properties, need to fill up after picking Seymour up from
Tom's this afternoon and had been wondering about trying V Power.
Some Aston bod told me it wouldn't help my MPG when I had the V12.

I'm a complete novice here, really, Vesuvius is my first supercar and I've only done 500 miles (exactly) so far. Others I hope will provide you (and me) with their experience re the best fuel to use. For what its worth, Vesuvius drives like a dream on V-Power.

Obviously not a tit man!Cockernee said:
Have you met lottery Tony ? Oh and how is your "friend" Julia
Lottery Tony,,,,is this related to me being a tit man, the truth, or something equally non Aston related. Julia, my most favourite girl, my best mate, she's good thanks Cockers.

Fetched the car back from Paintshield this afternoon and then possibly set a new world record by setting the Homelink at the third attempt.
Most impressed with that effort,Wife now in shock she was expecting a Pantomime.
Did you go for the full X-Pel monty Ed, or front end and rear arches option? Most impressed with that effort,Wife now in shock she was expecting a Pantomime.

as a mini X-Pel monty.
That said playing around this afternoon with Anne,Tom and a wire brush witnessing the products resistance and healing properties I must admit to thinking I should have gone the whole 9 yards.
Food for thought if theres a next time round........
Cockers,,,,engine power upgrade ECU tweaking and little birds,,,,if I told you all I know, I'd have to kill you.
Jockman,,,there maybe an opportunity quite soon to modify the rear number plate, I do have some influence, we'll see.

Interesting on all counts.I was told by someone recently, that if Bob was to tell you all he knew, it would take less than 10 minutes AND as you only have a paltry 510BHP you could never catch me anyway .

Drove to Lomdon with the family. Had breakfast in Harrrods.
Parked the DB9 at Cavendish square and then as we drive out We had our photograph taken 5 times by people on the streets. Lots of people pointing and some waved. Also got a wave from a vantage driver outside Harrods.
Good day
Josh

Looking at your pictures Josh Bear may I say what a lovely car, between you and Bob you have managed to convince me which direction to go
for my next Aston when the novelty of open top motoring fades and the Wife decides not to want to go topless at any given opportunity.
Would struggle to pick between the 2,the vibrancy of Bob's is wonderful and I do like red cars but then again the dark greys such as your lovely
example look so classy IMO.
Well this convert in the matching has only looked at his Aston so far today with every intention of a good wash and brush up later when the sun
goes round and off the drive.
Took Vesuvius for a late drive along the A151 to Bourne and then Market Deeping back to Spalding and home,,,an hour of living a dream, wonderful. Gotta get those pesky moth remains off her nose first thing tomorrow. for my next Aston when the novelty of open top motoring fades and the Wife decides not to want to go topless at any given opportunity.

Nice one Bob,
I bet you drove right past my hovel on that route between Bourne and Deeping, wish I'd known I would have liked to have caught a glimpse of the big red machine in action.
Never got mine washed yesterday we had a succession of visitors on the drive to totally bugger the job up,must get it done ready for Millbrook on Wednesday and the
Area 3 meeting on Friday.
Are you going on Friday evening Bob?.
Ed, it was a last minute decision, take her for walkies or sofa and tv,,,,did both in the end, in that order. After Paintshield do the remaining untreated panels on Vesuvius tomorrow, looks likely she'll be at BR for a while, so will not make Friday evening. Bob, as I am 50 this year, I will be old enough to buy a DB9, so as yours will be a year old next year I will happily give you £50K for it A strong bid, I know, but the colour helps. Let me know
Ah, 50, that was when for the first time I really didn't want to celebrate the occasion but then Cockers I thought, there are so many denied the privilege, that cheered me up again.Vesuvius is a keeper me old china, not for sale at any price. She and I have only just begun our journey together, so much planned for our future, we're going places man has never been, if I tell you more, I would have to kill you.
I'm trying to encourage my best mate (you know who I mean Cockers) into us having a His n Hers AM, a Vantage of some description. I'm not exactly holding my breath but stranger things have happened.
