Will do Ken. A real shame to miss it as I know it will be a great time down there.

Cars are great and the folk who own them are just as nice in my experience. Will be other meetings to come and Burghley 2016 is already in my calendar! Who knows ... There could be a DB11 there to tempt us all.

Have fun all!

Swore at it yesterday because the petrol flap wouldn't open with the button (which is not uncommon) but also wouldn't open with the manual cable unless I used the credit card trick. That was a new and unpopular feature.

The emergency brake assist failure which magically cured itself when I ordered the part a month ago came back today, so I fitted the new transducer to the master cylinder. Seems to have worked but was always an intermittent problem.

Adjusted the fuel flap hinge so hopefully it will open properly for a while.

Pulled fuse 22 - had it in for the last month but fancy a change.

Got cut up badly by a jaguar driving moron.

Took a lovely young lady to a prom to arrive to an audience of 300 at an exquisite building.

Humbled a brawny American car...big time...smokin

Got filmed through a tunnel by men in another car enthusiastically pointing at my exhaust and their ears on approach!!!

What a wonderful d a y (remember these when we get the silly bills)!
Prepped the V12V for a similar task, taking a friend's son to his prom tomorrow night...

So just how dusty / dirty did it get in the car park?

We're going Saturday (first time), and although I quite fancy taking the Vantage or the 360 I've heard they will get absolutely covered in dust. I'm thinking it might be simpler to take the Cayenne since I never bother cleaning that! (Plus it's more comfortable and automatic for sitting in long queues!).

Depends on the weather and which car park
Its the access that is dusty not the parking area
I'd suggest the Cayenne for both the reasons you mention

Sorry mate I'm by the pool as we speak, ogling this fit bird in a bright lime bikini wink

I'm razzing down to see an insurance bloke in Leicester in the next few weeks. You up for a bacon butty or are you away?

Btw I cannot read some emoticons on my iPad. It is clearly showing that you have used one but it will not display. Perhaps Turkey blocks them like it does with many websites confused

Trip to GFoS great day out good selection of Aston Martins on the track including the Vulcan. If you go in a low car watch the entrance 3 to car park as there is a big pot hole at the entrance.
