How does it compare to the DBS?

It's obviously inferior but which parts are close?

Difficult to compare really as both cars are different.....the DBS always feels as if it should be going fast....the vanquish is happy doing both..cruising which it is utterly fantastic....going from a manual to Touchtronic....is a big difference and I won't lie I miss my chunky knob....but am getting used to the vanquish.......I think it is a natural progression....DBS to vanquish ....it is like going from db9 to DBS....lots of little differences that turn into a big difference overall....

He'll be in an eight speed soon enough Ed.

And you'll be in a Volante.

They do look good without front plates, don't they? Is that legal out there or do you just get away with it?

Dropped my car off at the little backstreet garage just up the road for a bit of fettling.

Sadly I was given a Merc as a courtesy car, for some reason they wouldn't give me the DBS in the showroom weeping

Our V8VR enjoyed a trouble free trip of 2500 miles to France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany with friends in TVRs.
Over the Grosglockner and Stelvio passes - car was as beautiful to drive there as it is here.

I washed her, marvelled at her flawless paintwork, drove someone to a wedding (was never more than 6' from her), put her back in the garage (locked and no access for anyone), took her to the dealer for annual service, picked her up next day, put her in the garage. I then washed her again a few days later (before Newtown display show) and discovered my rear wing and rear door covered in scuffs and scratches. This just a couple of months after a detail and C Quartz sealing. Absolutely gutted.

So in summary, had to be done at/by the dealer then frown

Just another reason why I can never trust a main dealer. I'm seeing more and more of stuff like this from main dealers incompetence and having to rectify their poor workmanship/sub standard work on a daily basis!
I feel for you. Worth mentioning it to them. But I wouldn't hold your breath over anything being done!
