On the way to taking youngest for an off-road driving lesson in Gloucestershire. Took a wrong turn and ended up heading towards a stone quarry. By the time I'd turned round.....

Covered in white dust.

And me... All ready for the 'Rally 4 Heroes' trip around the Scottish Highlands. (With a little stop over at the Edinburgh Fringe).

Crikey - a rare car indeed!

Is this one of the 8 or so Vantage Volantes AMWorks did as special editions?

Actually, a sheep in wolfs clothing.

A Virage Volante Widebody Works Special with the V600 body panels. Believed to be 1 of 3 in this configuration. N/A 5.3 V8 Block.

Its not going to cause the tarmac to burn (that what the V12V is for) but is a nice, thoroughly enjoyable slush-box GT cruiser.

(yesterday but it was late)

Parked up after a 1,500+ mile round-trip to the Cairngorms inspired by this Evo video. We were very lucky with the weather which was generally excellent, got in some great driving and I even saw a famous Balmoral resident.

Attempted some photography too:

Still a stunning thing to behold - and I'll bet you'll be chuffed to bits there are no superchargers at service time!!

Disconnected the charger which was under an inch of water in the garage after flash flood this afternoon. Typical - it's not usually left on the floor.

Oddly, nothing had blown and the indicator light was still on, despite it being full of water, but opening it up revealed a new charger will be on its way though...

Clicked over 10,000 miles just after its first birthday

I missed it though as I was concentrating on driving through torrential rain (in which the car was superb)
