Phil - I just think a prestige marque's service should be better than this rather hit and miss, time consuming, human error, cut corner, communication failure laden affair. We'll see how it all pans out...take 2.

Put in the latest sat nav disc, so I had to take her out for a spin (got the traction control lights flashing on a damp road - all good). Sat Nav menu is now more simplified and takes postcodes, however I will need to have a longer play to understand how to get the split screen as one. The menu from before has changed so it will require some menu playing, or I should just ask my teenage son to sort it out.
And proving the OCD thing - following Paddys; advice I got and installed a Vac 'N Blo. One end sucks the dirt and dust out of the car (well rather it would if the hose still reached reached) and the other end blows a gale and pushes water off the car after washing ( 2 x 12' hoses via upgrade to 1 1/2"). So its no rubbing of the paintwork with cloths that may pickup grit anymore... Its a bit of a slow process despite the gale force power but very effective. Not sure if a narrow nozzle is best?
Also had a blast with about 30 other cars and the Rapide received some very nice compliments from several more overtly sporting car drivers for her pace on the Welsh twisties. She can be quite astonishing covering ground for such a big car - love her to bits!
