Treated the car to a some Michelin Pilot Supersports, a secondary cat delete, some carbon mirrors, a mini detail from a local detailer, and of course a blast round the country lanes to scrub the new tyres biggrin

Looks stunning! You liking the PSS? Maybe a little more compliant/less aggressive than std but find them far more planted, safer and grippy...and if it rains they are a revalation... Just a bit of 'cheap' pipe in place of secondary cats - do report back!

Thank you. Initial thoughts on the PSS are good more immediate grip, I think because they need less warming up. I liked the Corsas mostly in the dry, they did have a kind of strange wobble on the edge of grip which was odd.

I did like the fact that the Corsas would make the car very tail happy, I'm sure the PSS will be the same once I get used to them.

I mainly got rid of them because of rain and standing water situations. I was driving last Thurs in the rain and spinning the wheels at 40-50 mph.

PSS are a good all rounder I think and seem to fill the arches a bit better which is nice.

Secondary cat makes the car sound wonderful in the cabin, even with the windows up!

Sames as mine, I think made by RS and supplied by David Appleby?

Tony that is stunning!

I used SL once for paint on a 911, they are very good.

Short vid filmed by my 5 year old of the decat at cold start.

Not an aston picture, but popped in to monza while passing. Amazingly friendly staff let us have a look around everywhere (free). Including pole position. Sadly didn't have time to rent bikes to cycle around the whole track

It really changes the way you feel about the car. Went to Romans earlier and they have some serious kit, looked back lovingly at my car and decided I was in the right one.

Drove away and took a couple of roundabouts at a brisk pace, butterflies and adrenaline! Not many cars can make me feel like that!

Go and see http://www.davidapplebyengineering.com with £500 in your pocket.

Your car will be finished before you have finished your cup of tea! And they are lovely people too!

Ooohhh - remove that 30Kg mass at the back and add 10bhp "really let your Aston scream with these straight through rear exhaust pipes"

http://www.davidapplebyengineering.com/rsfv12.html

Now that would be so silly but such fun. drivingcopyikes

BR and Appleby both have the far more sensible secondary cat delete options - both at £600 fitted.

Xmas is coming early!

Put a carbon front splitter on and some carbon side strakes smile

Wing Mirror Cover next wink and some side sills (V12 or V8)

Not 100% on the spoiler yet, its better than the big one that OyaCarbon do, however I would prefer the front spoiler to follow the curve of the bumper rather than either stop as the one I have or curve all the way round and stick out..... Hmmmm

Might see what else I can find

The other OyaCarbon one below for reference.

See what I mean about them sticking out frown
