First long trip....down to Folkestone....then off to champagne country for a stay in a haunted chateau.....then of to another bit near the Alps....then into Italy to get something to eat...
That'll be me next week. Will be Turing right at the Alps and across to the Millau viaduct and more chateaus. Can't wait...

Took my local British Car Club out for a moonlight drive and some light painting. You set the shutter open then 'paint' your car with a flashlight.

Three E types in club and this one came out really nice

Like others, at Folkestone now. Colmar tomorrow. Then Lausanne, Turin and Villefranche for a week. Driven down from Anglesey today. Long schlep.

Without pictures it didn't happen. In fact, even with a picture I wouldn't believe it happened nono

You need to edit your 'My Garage' Section, and your front page of your profile to include your new car.
Is that V12 Vantage Roadster Manual?
And is the Vanquish a MY16 (8 Speed ZF Gearbox) spec or earlier?

Pete,

I'll vouch for Tony as he did walk up Mont Blanc but only from the last stop on the Tram way..............as far as Tony is concerned that counts as walking up Mont Blanc.....rolleyes

Matt,

It's a V12S Roadster with ASM 3 Sports Shift.

So far we've only seen 3 other Astons, a French registered DBS and British registered DB9 in St Tropez, and another V8 Vantage in Monaco this morning. Loads of the dancing donkey fiats, and I lost count on 911 beetles, so the Astons are certainly proving to be the coniseours choice down here. Let's see if that changes tomorrow when we hit Italy?
A DB9 and a Vantage drove past me in Antibes on Thursday night.

If the Vantage was black, it may well have been us. Our first 'spotted' in the Aston thumbup We're now in Bellagio on Lake Como.

Seen quite a few Porsche, but only one other Aston, a dark green UK registered DB9 Volante yesterday.

Great photos, not sure I would be that brave to take mine to the beach, which beach is it and what was the access like?

OMG!!! WHAT an utter muppet! That Bentley must be twice the weight of a Rapde ;-)

Beach is Morfa Bychan near Porthmadog - easy access and super hard sand unlike that Cornish squidgy rubbish! Took every ounce of self control not to give her any beans - the LSD would have been such fun there but she's too precious and I don't want salty sand in the little transmission rad etc! My Ford Escort Mk1 days were great fun there mind smile

No HDR, just slightly under exposures on a 5D and a polariser and a pit of post.
