^^^What a beauty.

Today I bought mine 4 new Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Last week it was new front discs and pads... and a service.
Next few weeks - rear discs and pads and an MOT. Oh, and tax.

Still worth every penny, despite the fact I'm losing my job at the end of the month!

I use some Autoglym metal polish. Works a treat.
yes it will need a metal polish to remove the hard water staining from the aluminium

Driven 1000 miles in last 5 days through the beautiful lochs of Scotland around Glencoe etc. received many waves and positive comments and in my travels seen a DB2/4 driven from Holland, and vast number of 911s,a few Healeys,Nissan GTR and a lovely Stag (the four wheeler variety). Great trip.

Very nice garage collection FalconWood.

If you still have them all the Barchetta, Dino, GTO, both RS, and even the 16M have all had incredible past 1-3 years meaning it's an even more amazing collection than it was a few years back!

Attended Lime Rock Park Vintage Fall Festival Concours. Parked next to this one-off, all-alumin(i)um Ferrari V12-powered machine; quite spectacular workmanship and finish.

Thanks for the kind words.

I work in oil & gas up in Aberdeen and this year has been very tough for a lot of people. At least everyone on this forum is doing their part for the oil price..!

Sorry that's just a derivatve melange of 60s sports car clichéd styling cues, Zagato roof bulges, E-Type nose, power bulge, Daytona Cobra tail etc. etc. Nothing original there...

Didn't say it was original, only that it was extremely well executed and finished superbly. Not easy to do in all ally. The designer/builder specifically intended it to look 60s, and he defo succeeded.

The emission service warning light came on today so I put back in the fuse 22 and went for a spirited drive and the light went off. Don't know if it had anything to do with the fuse, but it worked. biggrin

I quite like it, but the back half looks like a Marcos Mantara

Darren Turner took mine out for a spin (not literally). What a great guy and great fun to be in the company of.

Then went go karting with him (thanks To Grange in Exeter) and watching him drive the course was an education. He looked so smooth but so, so quick.

Another great day thanks to owning an Aston!
