Loving the new car Molly. As a random off topic question, how do you find the new 1.8 Polo GTI compared to the old one? I'm in the market for a new daily and was looking at them
Loving it George. Tried the Fiesta ST too but the baseball cap image just wasn't for me! That said I would have to admit that the ST is a brilliant chuck-able bundle of fun as demonstrated by the one that came on tour with us - I doubt mine could have kept up but that flippin' thing was constantly mixing it with the Astons, Ferraris & Porsches! Best you get an extended test drive in both wink

Cheers Molly. I won't be driving for a few weeks anyway after a bike accident so not in any rush. Not actually sure what I want, I just know not a diesel again! Not a fan of the Ford though

Very occasionally I manage it. Although where's the fun in that?

Ho Ho ,you're quite right.
You seem to have mellowed of late George.
I remember, a few years ago, when a week never passed when you didn't comment stridently on the colour or style of an Aston's wheels or a "chavvy" number plate.

Did all of this except we drove back to Wexford for the ferry to Fishguard not across to Anglesea. Sailing tomorrow. Car is very dirty!
Love the Irish!

Wow!
I'd be intersted to hear what those roads are like
I fancy doing something similar smile
Hi Mikey... Roads generally very good except in villages when their pretty rough. Roads across the peat are very undulating with quite severe crests and compressions. We survived a few of these but a Ferrari California went home on a truck with a cracked sump and a McLaren12c ripped a chunk off the rear splitter after a heavy landing. Rob had bits of front spoiler hanging down but he's not bothered as its only a tenner or so to replace. We did most of the WildAtlanticWay - Molly will show you the route. Scenery was brilliant. It would be worth doing again at a slower pace to appreciate the countryside more (Mona's contribution!)
Ken ... I think we did about 1800 miles
Sorry for the delay in responding ... Busy getting rally are ready for Sunday. Tires Tires !!!

Fitted one of these mini aerials:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111547736910?_trksid=p20...

Still undecided but I'm probably going to return to the original - reception is fine when stationary, but loses signal on the move much more easily, plus I think it looks a bit weird to be honest.

If anyone wants it drop me a message and I'll stick it in the post if I decide to ditch it.

Bad luck, at least you gave it a crack. I'll try the radio next time I'm out on the move and see if it's the same.

Yeah, it was worth a go, it only cost buttons after all - I thought it was fine at first as the signal seemed fine, but when I was on the move today it kept cutting out (although I'm sure the terrible weather wouldn't have helped!)
