wavey

I popped along in the morning, what an amazing collection of cars! and it was great to have a Spitfire keep taking off and landing.

Took lots of pics, but for me this was the star of the show. cloud9

Me too! What a fantastic day and some lovely cars on display. Rubbish weather travelling up from Devon yesterday but today was a terrific drive home! Dinner under the wings of Concord last night was brilliant. Thanks AMOC!

And an excellent job you did too, paddy. My cleaning on the rest of the car wasn't up to much though.

Didn't do anything WITH my Aston because I'm visiting the UK with my family (from the USA). But on Saturday I drove from the old family home in Bedfordshire through Woburn and then on through Newport Pagnell where the Bonham's Aston auction was going on.
I looked around at some spectacular machines, then I made a purchase!!! Unfortunately it was just a set of valve caps and a t-shirt...
I did meet Roger Carey, Chairman of the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, and had a nice conversation. He's a real gentleman and a proper enthusiast.

Prototype number 1 (DP 2055/2) with production number 1 (70001) together for the first time:

LM number 15 (70252)

Parked under a tree. I do not recommend this. frown
There was a corresponding splurge across the bonnet too.
All gone now, thanks to the nearby jetwash and the lacquer seems to have got away with it. thumbup
