Have the exact same plate. Was pulled over by CHP. He walks up to window, leans down and asks, Nice car, What is it?
I'm thinking - I'm sure you ran my plate before walking up - didn't you see the f'ing frame?

Changed front brakes, pulled airboxes and installed Hi-flow filters. No codes and surprised how much it changed the sound under full pedal. Always amazed that those wheel well's actually fit in there. And soooo many bolts!

Service carried out my local indie, AMtech, at the new premises. Great individual "while you wait" service, sensible advisories and an even more sensible price. All carried out by fully trained AM technician with all the up to date info etc - well pleased smile

You will have those coppers after you again, that dodgy number plate is so obviously difficult for any human being or machine to read.

Joking aside, neat looking premises they have there.

Once I got the boxes out I measured the intakes and ordered a couple of these

http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?prod=...

Fit well enough but had to put some bits of rubber and zip tie them so they wouldn't move around or vibrate against anything.

Induction Roar? Something like that. I like itthumbup

Just for info you don't need to remove the whole wheel arch to access the airboxes. If you undo the the front 3 bolts and are carefull by protecting the front wings it's gives plenty of room for access.

Wow David we are just on our way up there on a family holiday. Hearing a V12 growl would of been an added bonus!

I'm sure you'll have a great time, I was just a bit suprised it was so busy given the time of year.

I think it has just been the Scottish holidays. Love Scotland at this time of year. Shame I am not going in the Aston.

Or a charge of perverting the course of justice.

It seems to be an automatic jail sentence for that.

Remember the ex-wife of the MP, who grassed on him in connection with an, 'I wasn't driving the car' speeding offence. She seemed to be blissfully unaware that in doing so, she was pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice. She went straight to jail.

However, don't worry about it. You can probably access this forum from inside, so we will visit you. I have never been inside a prison. Have only seen the visiting arrangements, watching Ronnie Barker on TV.

smile

Your car looks very beautiful, even better without the front plate.

Had the Aston for 4 years, fancied a change.. 'Downgrading'.. I suppose its an opinion driven thing but now got a full blooded GT at 600bhp, 0-60 in just over 4 seconds and a 200mph car.
