Bit in keeping with the above, stared at it for 10 minutes then took a photo biggrin
I know the feeling!
Are you running Eagle F1`s on there? I have Summer & winter Goodyear tyres on my Audi, and they are great on that.

Hi Mr Tremlini, Yep Eagle F1's.... smile

Out for a hoon today, upped the beans a bit (still exploring grip and stuff), and up popped 'emissions system service required' plus warning triangle and engine warning light... FFS.... three weeks in to ownership..... oh well....

Just get an OBD2 reader and reset the warning. If it comes up again then get it checked out. Have you got Oem cats? If you've got 200cell jobbies as they can occasionally throw up this warning

Not yet but I am thinking of getting one what do you think of them?
Not sure yet. But the seat belt 'rings' and other aluminium bits in the Aston seem to weather badly, almost grow mould in the winter so be interesting to see if the carcoon stops that. And protects the hood as its a volante.

The fact you can ditch the normal indoor cover and drive in and out if you want seems a lot less admin so I do like that part.

But only had them a month so can't pass much judgement yet.

Made and installed a remote control gizmo to switch between exhaust valves always closed / always open / OEM open at 4k so I can track the car without having to swap the gloriously loud race cats out.

After having the V8V sat for 3 weeks just managed to do the foot-to-the-floor engine turnover routine. My last attempt a few weeks ago failed miserably as I presume my foot wasn't quite all the way down so the entire surrounding area was startled by a v8 cacophony of a Vantage starting at 3/4 throttle, as that was as far as as I'd managed to lift off to as the horror dawned of 'it sounds like it's going to start...argghhhh'.

So today was chuffed to pass this Aston learning process and will just have to live with the ignominy of the neighbours now believing I own a temperamental starting Vantage......

Love it. All light leather can look too much but when you contrast it with common or garden obsidian WOW!

Don't think it's Obsidian, looks like Caspian Blue to me.

Is that B&O in your V8 LBS? Rare spec.

Yes, Caspian Blue interior, was all one colour which I felt needed a bit of contrast - leather insert colour matches the hood lining and goes well (I think) with the exterior colour - Mako Blue. Yes, too, to B&O - love it smile

As travel has kept me away from any meaningful engagements, I was remiss in getting the wheels/Sottozero`s fitted, although I did have time to organise getting the 7-spokes redone in anthracite in the interim. I drove to my dealer to get the switch done on Friday, snowed lightly on the way, which gave me a pretty interesting comparison on grip levels!

What a beautiful car , what colour is that please ?

Today I removed my old walnut centre fascia panel to a brand new gloss black unit.

It is the new metal type so I had to purchase a conversion kit, cost almost £1000 which was expensive, plus it's not manufactured very well because the sat nav lid didn't even open properly, I had quite a few problems with this job but got them all sorted in the end.

I also installed new Glass switches for the Park/Reverse/Neutral/Drive switches.

Really happy with it, with the grey leather interior I think it looks a lot better -
