So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Took a drive up to Yosemite. Hadn't snowed in a week so thought the roads would be fine. Only a few places where iced over but lots of tourists with chains on their cars slowing things down. Last 30 miles took about 1.5 hrs.
Thinking whomever programmed the warnings into these things was a bit prissy. Got continual warnings about ice, tires, brakes, traction control. Every time a light blinks I see dollar signs popping up and forum queries saying, 'sorry to hear that mate'.
Got a bit of grit in the brakes and What A Noise! Wife is yelling to pull over because something obviously broke. Cleared up after a few minutes of embarrassment with people staring as this screeching sound passed by.
Note to self - avoid the winter months in the mountains. Going to need a good wash to remove my dirt wrap. Tried for a nice pic but was very crowded and car a bit of a mess.

Drove 840km from Newcastle to Brisbane with a coffee and fuel stop. Being Xmas we have double speeding fines and demerit points and plenty of highway patrol presence on the road so mostly sat on 103km/hour but got a few thrills passing slower cars
They are just magnificent tourers
Happy new year all - may it bring many smiles and miles in your Aston

Finished polishing and waxing Kermit then took him for his first run out - a nice blast around some of the reservoirs around Harrogate!
To say I'm pleased would be a bit of an understatement, and the sound once you press on with the cat bypass is insane - I love it!
