They look sealed to me
Yes I think you are right mate - all clean and dry in there but it was a new one on me to see 'unboxed' electrical stuff just behind the front wheels' wheelarch liner. I hear they are all up to it though - McLaren et all! On my Bimmer I have moved sus & PDC modules + 3 relays out of the spare wheel well ever since I caught them swimming and the dashboard lit up like a Xmas tree due to a split in boot seal! No chance they could go paddling in this Aston location though My commiserations on your similar issue grommets then James!

Today I removed my old walnut centre fascia panel to a brand new gloss black unit.
It is the new metal type so I had to purchase a conversion kit, cost almost £1000 which was expensive, plus it's not manufactured very well because the sat nav lid didn't even open properly, I had quite a few problems with this job but got them all sorted in the end.
I also installed new Glass switches for the Park/Reverse/Neutral/Drive switches.
Really happy with it, with the grey leather interior I think it looks a lot better -
I had my wooden ski slope sprayed and polished to piano black. Cost me £500, collects from your home if in northwest and brings it back to refit it. Bargain and it looked great (I don't have it anymore) but can dig out the guys details - if anybody is interested just pm me.

Just need to undercut the £195 AM are charging now for the old plain aluminium cap and you would be quids in with an order book to fill up all your weekends for a year!

You think the petrol cap is expensive? Well, I saw the DB11 oil filler cap and thought, "that's nice". Could you do a petrol cap too? Just need to undercut the £195 AM are charging now for the old plain aluminium cap and you would be quids in with an order book to fill up all your weekends for a year!
A quick enquiry led to the response "£ 418.54 plus vat sir".
Err, nope.
If you guys want some, I could make arrangements to sort that out. This was a one-off for fun. Proper ones would also need coating/anodising.
How about I get my pal to whip up an improved MK2 and you guys can get them if you like them?

Sounds good to me - I'm in, drop me a PM if you get any further serious interest and it looks like a viable prospect.I was a cheapskate and went with the black plastic fuel cap, and to be honest it works on Kermit, but I would really have liked something like this which looks a lot better than the factory offering! PM me if this gets real, but np if not.
