So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
So I have had a few cosmetic enhancements on my DB9 over the past few months. First of all a full 2 stage detail, the paintwork was horrific covered with swirls and scratches. The results are stunning, far exceeded expectations, not really able to show it on camera but well worth the relatively minor outlay.
The calipers were looking a bit shabby and I wasn't really feeling the black calipers anymore and always wanted a bolder colour. Therefore I had them refurbished to a nice bright red, much better

I went and found the Hardknott pass during the summer, in the Range Rover, and found myself idly wondering what the V12V would have made of it. I'm pretty sure that it would ground out on some of the hairpins with significant camber changes.
To be honest, it's a great road, but not a great drive, so I wonder if anyone has bothered taking anything a bit on the low slung side up?

I have been up it in the Discovery but I'm not sure I would like to take the Aston up the Hardknot Pass. Kirkstone though is one of our regular runs. Which one is the struggle? To be honest, it's a great road, but not a great drive, so I wonder if anyone has bothered taking anything a bit on the low slung side up?

Gorgeous looking car and well done on the caliper colour change as its really transformed the look of your car for the better. My Aston is also Black with RED calipers.

Risked the salty roads to take it for the MOT. Ended up helping out, nearly got vertigo up on the 4 post lift. Pesky TPMS fault on he dash nearly scuppered things but luckily when the obliging test man looked into it and checked with the chaps at the ministry or transport, it turns out its only an advisory on 2009 cars, would have been a failure on 2010.
I still need to get it sorted though, tried disconnecting it but still get the warning on th dash, really don't want to splash out on new sensors if I can avoid it, any options out there to disable without getting the message?

While I appreciate the way the body lines flow with the coupes, when the top is down it's just gorgeous. When it's between 54 and 85(f) and the sun is out my top is down. Tell the wife I'm going out for some vitamin V(olante).
The lines on the DB9/S coupe are absolutely stunning.I also think in DBS guise, with the pronounced rollover hoops and boot spoiler, it looks good top up or down..
Today I gave the AM dealer the go ahead to fit the Quicksilver decat pipe to my DBS (which currently has the supersport backbox).
