Mikey, you're not allowed to get a v8 roadster. It has to be a v12 or nothing I'm afraid.

Paddy the only V8 roadster I'd contemplate is a genuine N400 wink Though a V12 from the original 101 run has always been on my radar, or maybe a none grey/black DBS Volante

weeping I've just had to make the decision to sell mine to fund a business venture. Half of me hopes no one will buy it!

What age is deemed OK for a DBS? I'm 'only' 34! biggrin

I got mine back today from the dealer after fixing a few niggles - and I got them to fit decat pipes in addition to the Quicksilver Supersport backbox. I hope the link works:

You're far too young for a DBS! Actually, it's the Db9 that's the old mans car. Saying that, I know people that have changed from a V12v to a DBS because it's a softer ride and more forgiving on their bum.

I had a ghillies green DB9 before the DBS, got that when I was 31! Surprisingly, the DBS is a nicer ride than the ('05) DB9.

I didn't like the gearbox on the V12 and didn't want a manual, so the DBS was the natural choice.

I'm obviously far too young for a DBS based on the chat here (yeah right) but in Volante form it's just such an exquisite car and last weekend winchester to Arundel, down the high street was very good fun.

Not that anyone is necessarily interested in instagram, but rather than add the pics / videos here if you want to take a look search for me as lrchorne as i posted a few.

Bit of a soft top theme last weekend!

I've lost count of the amount of tartan blankets and slippers in db9's. Not forgetting saga catalogues.

Sean, Rob, thanks,,,,IMO Volcano red, or any dark red does look awesome on an aston. Except that is, on a DBS, black-black-black has to be the colour, strange that.

Got my new GoPro and suction mount ready for my drive out tomorrow morning with some friends - one of them being a GT8, amongst some other lovely metal.

If it doesn't fall off and I can figure out how it works, I'll try to post up a vid!
