That looks nice. Sadly the guy who makes them ( John ) has come back to me and at this time cannot make one for the DB7 Vantage V12 engine as the 710 cap is of a different fitment to the one he is making and selling.

I sent him pics of mine yesterday and its sadly different so there was indeed an update on the rocker covers for DB9, Vanquish and later cars.

Ah. That explains the "have you seen this thread and can you model it in Solidworks?" conversation this week.
I think he has a soft spot for DB7's. Bless him.
Wait out. I'll let you know how we get on. smile

Part number 61611383432 from any BMW dealer. It is used for the wiper arm on a BMW 8-Series. Very cheap.
Cotswold BMW:

Price for 2x would be £17.40
All prices quoted are for Genuine BMW Parts, include a discount for forum membership, VAT and there would be no charge for postage to a mainland UK address on all orders over £20.

What can I get for £2.60 to get free postage though!?

Nice oil cap Tony.

Us younger set with the baby Astons, get a nice stainless steel oil cap as standard.
Dry sump don't you know, so we can corner much faster.

Fast cornering is not something that concerns me Jon.
I prefer to gently cruise in my DB9V, roof down,as it gives the nubile young wimmin a chance to throw themselves into the passenger seat. wink

Perhaps I need to stop the fast cornering, and get myself a DB9V.

I am just trying to picture the scene, nubile, young and throwing themselves into the passenger seat.
Does this happen often?
Perhaps it is your scarf that is attracting them.

What happens next? Do you continue with your gentle cruise, or do you take the wimmin home to meet your wife, for tea and fireworks?
