Please note how the second drum from the left was a match for the Fanny Magnet both inside and out,just a small observation.

Not sticking me neb in but I can guarantee he'll have forgotten...
All this talk of fanny magnets - I've booked in for some cosmetic surgery. I've got a bloody DBS and still only get attention from old dudes at the petrol station telling me how spiffing my car is, the only woman to comment on it was a very posh lady well into retirement!

What have I done with my V8 Vantage today? Smacked it into my CBR 1000 which was parked across the back of my garages!! The left footrest on the CBR pierced the number plate and shattered the front plinth. Moral of story make sure foot doesn't slip off brake whilst manoeuvreing in garage! No damage to CBR.
The good news is I have just purchased a private plate, but hadn't yet removed the old plinth, as I was planning to stick the new number plate directly to the front panel revealing the fantastic front grill. I am able to confirm the stories about the front plinth being capable of taking a 5mph impact are totally valid. I have zero damage to the front of my car and without the plinth I would have severely damaged the front grill, bonnet leading edge and the front PU.
Photos will follow, however take it from me for all of you who still have the plinth it DOES work, and for those nasty nudges in a car park I'm convinced it would stop the damage. Also for those of us who don't currently have one BEWARE!
I now feel that I need to clean it again to say sorry!
