A few weeks ago someone brushed across the front of my car with another vehicle, and despite my initial horror - a replacement of the scraped armourfend and a nifty polish from Trinity Aston was all that was required.

Without the armourfend, I'd be looking at a nose / wing respray and a very grumpy insurer. (There was no "damage", but the amourfend saved the lacquer / paint)

So not only does it stop stones / heavy flies - pretty good at fighting off vehicles too! smile

Usual cracking job by Trinity - who kindly got me to / from the station and turned my car around in < 7 hours. Car back to its shiny best and tucked up in the garage.

Cheers

Kris

Well worth having protection as you've just illustrated. Glad the car is back to its glorious best smile

Probably a daft question - but what happens on a hot day, driving through country side or motorway, plenty of bugs hit the front end. Would they be encapsulated into the armourfend - with the self healing heat from the sun?

Armourfend isn't self-healing, only Xpel Ultimate from Paintshield does that. Bugs just wipe off. The self healing is for when you get scratches on it or swirl marks from cleaning etc. They just disappear over time but go in seconds with heat.

It would have to be a big bug to scratch the film yikes

You'd have to ask Nick biggrin

I suspect worst case the pheasant would be nicely shrink wrapped ready for the freezer!

The last pheasant I hit didn't need plucking. It lost all its feathers from the shock! Bloody country bumkins. Try running them over, not shooting them. Saves lots of plucking time smile
