Yes, they are still an approved AM service centre (and one of the few Heritage service centres).
I recently had my V8V serviced there and cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are thinking of going there, ask to be shown around their workshop. They will happily oblige and you will come away feeling very impressed and happy with your decision.
Also have a look at the current edition of Vantage magazine. There is a great write up of them in there.

Yep that's correct, they also work on my V12V.I recently had my V8V serviced there and cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are thinking of going there, ask to be shown around their workshop. They will happily oblige and you will come away feeling very impressed and happy with your decision.

I have to say though, do not be put off by the slightly shabby looks of the place, the awful reception staff, the coffee machine from 1902 or the showroom in general. The actual mechanics are excellent and they look after some serious metal.

Thanks, I will pop along as I am only a few miles away and it looks like I will be joining the Vantage fold shortly.
There was a silver '06 V8V on the forecourt the other day when I drove past. Is that the one that you are looking at? (Simon Lane, the chap who deals with AM sales, is a lovely guy. He will definitely show you around the workshop if you ask).Biggriff said:
Assume they will refer me back to a main dealer for warranty work?
Why would they? They are an approved AM service centre so will surely deal with warranty stuff themselves. I can't add any more info, except to say that I would recommend them whole-heartedly.
Again, speak to Allen. He's a top bloke and has helped us out with all our cars.
The only thing they don't do is sell brand new cars from the dealership, although they now have a partnership with the Cambridge branch, so you can in fact still order new cars from SMC.
Service, bodywork and trim work all still taken care of.

I echo all that has been said. I brought my last two Astons from them and have always had excellent service. They are now a Heritage dealer (changed approx 18 months ago) and were selling ALL models up until then but still are approved AM service centre and a factory approved bodyshop.
eta. I have never seen the coffee machine - they always bring me a cup of tea out in a china cup

Dont be put off by Sam's comments ! They are a FAMILY run and owned business that have been dealing with Astons since the 60's. They don't have the "corporate" image or attitudes that sometimes go with that. I have always found everyone from reception staff up to Roger Bennington, the company owner, really pleasant, helpful people and would not hesitate to highly recommend them.I have to say though, do not be put off by the slightly shabby looks of the place, the awful reception staff, the coffee machine from 1902 or the showroom in general.
