Well done. What a purchase. Don't keep the throttle on the floor for too long!

Although I do not have one on order, I hope you will not mind me giving my opinion.

I generally prefer Aston Martins in an understated colour, because when 'keepers', they will hopefully still look good many years on
.
However, you are buying what will probably be the ultimate performance Vantage, so I would go for one of the historic greens, to link the racing connection with your own car.

Enjoy.

Why? I've always liked yellow callipers.
Oh sorry.

Apart form your orange car, I thought you usually preferred the traditional understated rather than, 'look I have disc brakes'.

Don't take it seriously though.

Now that Sunburst Yellow was stunning. Fantastic to see such a bright colour and that one did sparkle smile

I'm looking at the various colour & trim options for my V12VS order. As this will be the first car I have had the chance to spec up, I was thinking of going a bit off the normal (Meteroite and obsidian black), with a light colour like morning frost white or bright yellow with everything blacked out (wheels, window surround, tail pipes etc.) I think it would suit the overtly sporting style of the car, not too sure about the interior yet but maybe bitter chocolate.

I'm not too sure about the lipstick grille treatment and the coloured roof / back panel.

What's everyone else with a car on order doing? I'm looking for some opinion and a few ideas.

I have pretty much decided on the new style wheels, lightweight seats, upgraded audio, alcantera steering wheel, front parking assist and rear camera.
So what have you decided on, did I miss your final post?

I think I would go with Flugplatz Blue with full black decals, lipstick and c/f packs, satin black lightweight wheels, interior with lightweight seats in leather with matching blue inserts and stitch + alcantara wheel.

Should look at bit like this :

Flugplatz Blue Vanquish

Elwood Blue V12V (similar colour to give the idea).

Damn, got myself tempted with the idea now! tongue out

The launch colour of Tang looks fantastic in the flesh, but my favourite currently is Volcano Red. I saw both Vanquish and DB9 in these and that is a truly stunning colour.

Is it possible to select the above Blue shown on the Vanquish for the v12vs?

I was also on looking at a v12vs on the configurer and I noticed this colour is not on there.

Yes it will be possible, any colour is possible you just need to ask, but some colours are very expensive.

This price list may be is a little out of date, but if you scroll to the bottom it gives you an idea of the potential costs involved. i.e. £2-8k extra!
