Do you own your Aston?

Hello all,

I was wondering recently how we all paid for our Astons? Do you own it outright (by paying cash or it was gifted to you) or is it financed somehow?

Now I know that a gentlemen shouldn't discuss something as vulgar as money in polite company so hopefully the results of the poll will be anonymous. If they aren't, I will delete the poll.

Calm down, tony. Participation isn't compulsory.

(And it would appear that the poll is indeed anonymous).

haven't we don't this exercise on here before ...maybe even more than once ?

and we usually end up with a debate on financial strategy and some will waving banter...

I mean there are some lucky men on here that are kept by their lovely wives and just get whichever toys they ask for at Christmas smile

How about:

"Own outright - gift or equivalent"

or

"Belongs to someone else"?

Does that effectively fall under "Belongs to someone else"?

"Nicked it" (a la snipez999) ...certainly does. biggrin

"Nicked it" definitely not ,that's criminal ,like stealing a man's horse in the Wild West ".
Now I'm talking about good old fashioned honest crime.
Appears Cockers would understand.

I used to buy all my cars outright, but have finally been persuaded to finance the last 3. The deals are so good (3.5% on two of them) that it makes sense to borrow the money if you believe you can make a better net return on your capital elsewhere (which I have so far smile) A number of dealers reserve their best deals for 'high net worth' customers - defined as income of over £150k or £200k, or liquid assets over £500k, so if you fall into this category expect some great offers. Mercedes seem to be offering some stunning deals and I was offered a new R8 spider on a lease at a price that meant buying a secondhand made no sense at all...
