Right my little Gastronomical Piglets its time to think about getting stuck into the Georges big trough.

Jody at the George has rang this afternoon to ask about booking a private room for the anticipated swill up.

She rang to fore warn that with the many functions and Weddings that are hosted by the George during the Summer
months its advisable to reserve a Private Dining room LIKE NOW or indeed shortly to avoid disappointment, with that
said I will post a separate thread for those that are wanting to Dine on the Saturday night as a group for a pre event
get together.

I'll let the Post run for 4 or 5 days before making an appointment to see there Functions Reservation Guy to book it up.

You don't have to be stopping at the George to join in so please help me to help you by putting yourself on yet another
list...............party.

Hi Ed, I have booked the George for the Saturday 26 th.
Interested in joining you for the meal, will there be a choice of menu ?
I only ask as the hotel said with group bookings it can be a different menu.
Also what time will you start the meal approx ?
Apologies for all the questions.
Hi,Steven

Sorry but its difficult to answer right now as I'm going to see them in a week or so after time has been given
for people to add themselves to the Diner List on the other Posting.

I'm presuming you can have what you like or if you have any special dietary needs I'm sure they can be catered for given
appropriate notice. All I can advise at the moment is to add yourself and your good lady to the diners list and we'll sort
things out in due course.

Timing of the meal is up for discussion but I would have thought most people will be ready to stuff their face by 8.00ish.

I hope that helps a little but do shout up if you need further information, questions are good it shows your paying attention.

Pleased your in at the George as I'm sure you will relish the Cuisine as well as the Hotels comfort, style and old world charm.

Tacticle is the best new word invented this month - a sort of mix between tactile and testicle.

Anyone got a definition?

Serious for a minute,.....yes I know it will be difficult but......

I filled out the Piston Heads Calendar for Events for next July's Meeting a few days back, after filling in the boxes with dates, venue etc it flashed up the Event would be
added to the PH Calendar.

As of yet nothing has come on for next July which leads me to think,

1, I've buggered it up.

2, It takes longer than a few days to get posted up.

3, Its broken.

4, Nobody cares about me.

Any clues from the band of merry followers,or even better is there a caring and friendly Mod looking in that could sort it..................thanks.

On the Mod front do you think it possible to have the Event as a sticky up and till the Event please to help it keep its momentum, once again thanks.

Cheers,

Ed............the computing dullard....type

Thanks Graham,

Their in full swing at the moment setting up for the Horse trails,I had a brief insight to the amount of work that goes in to it when I went over for a meeting on Wednesday.

The whole place is immaculate and should, weather permitting prove a ideal setting for our event, all I need to do now is double the attendance numbers and the job will be
a good un..........
