Hi Ed. I mirror pretty much what everyone has already said. Sunday was a great day made all the better by your fantastic organisation, the weather, and of course the Spitfire's - the sound of them makes the hairs on your arms tingle. Just wonderful. It was my first Aston event as I only bought my car in February but it won't be my last, you were all a very friendly bunch. One area that I feel can be improved on for next time is attendance: come on you lot - 246 Aston's is not enough (although a good start), the TVR owners club were there in April and had 642 models attending. As for the noise - well Burghley and their deer coped with the TVR's, 246 Aston's and a couple of Spitfire's so I am sure that they are now well conditioned to it all. Bring it on.

While I am certain your attendance quote is tongue in cheek Steve the TVR event was a resited one from Chatsworth which started out several years ago as a quite small one and has grown over those years as many of these repeat shows do.

Do agree though as attendees we should have tried to match the effort put in by Ed and his team, maybe if it goes ahead next year we can try harder. smile
